The busy, busy days of Holy Week are soon upon us with Maundy Thursday Communion, the Ecumenical Good Friday Service (or not), perhaps a Saturday Easter Vigil, Sunrise Easter morning, then the big worship service(s) for Easter itself.  When does a preacher have an opportunity to simply be in worship to celebrate the wonderful gift of the Resurrection?

I offer to those who preach or lead worship – in whatever community you serve – to an Eastertide worship service on Thursday, April 12th, at 11:00 am at the Bainbridge Presbyterian Church.  With scripture, prayer, and song, we will celebrate the Resurrection together.  There isnothing required of you for this service.  You will not be asked to lead anything.  You are invited to simply participate in the liturgy as you wish.

After the service, you are invited to remain for fellowship at lunch (cost $7.00 each).  If you would, though, please RSVP to me (revlisaheckman(at)gmail.com) or to Christine Rogalski (pmc(at)susvalpresby.org) by April 8th, if you will be staying for lunch.

I encourage you, my colleagues in ministry, to refresh yourselves and to feed your own soul in communion with others.

Grace and Peace.
Lisa Heckman
