In addition to each pastor and lay pastor attending, each church is expected to send a ruling elder commissioner to presbytery assembly.  If the regular ruling elder delegate cannot attend, an alternate should go instead. Please email requests for excused absence to: statedclerk(at)susvalpresby.org

After September 10, reports and papers for the presbytery assembly meeting can be accessed online at: www.susvalpresby.org  then click Login.   You will need to have the presbytery user name and password to be able to open the files.

Once logged in the papers are at  http://www.susvalpresby.org/events-listing/assembly  and click the link for the September 17, 2016 meeting near the top of the page. Please print or save your papers to your computer in advance as only limited Internet will be available at the church.

Call For Comment on Revised Personnel Policy

Dear Presbyters:

The Cabinet plans to present a revised Personnel Policy for the Presbytery for a first reading and questions on the floor at our September 17th Assembly, with the intention of voting on the Policy at our November Assembly. In order better to receive your suggestions--and perhaps speed up time on the floor on November 17th--we would like your comments and questions early. Please peruse the two following documents--our existing Personnel Policy, and the draft with revisions--and send questions and comments to me, Emrys Tyler, at emrystyler(at)gmail.com. Or you may call me for a conversation at 607.621.2204.
